This site is very important when it comes to the religious changes in Scotland. If you are in the area of Edinburgh and are able to visit, I would highly recommend this spot. St Andrew's Cathedral is part of the Scottish Episcopal Church; it should not be confused with the much older St Machar's Cathedral (of the Church of Scotland - which is Presbyterian). i visited st andrews cathedral with my wife and we had a blast. i am not religous but i have to say if you are visiting scotland for any reason you should stop by becuse it was one of the most outstanding views and places i have ever been to.
