Called in here as I was working nearby. What an amazing place! I had heard of it but wasn't expecting so much to still be standing and for the stone work to be of such a high quality. There are lots of information boards around the site and several buildings are still intact so have indoor rooms as well as...

This place is really interesting. There is a building with an excellent echo that gave us a chance to have a sing along and actually sound quite good (despite not being able to sing!) The site is mostly outdoors but there is a really good visitor centre and good interactives. The staff were friendly and informative. The old graves adjacent...

Interesting ruin with a great echo in one of the few intact buildings! The modern visitor centre is done well - very informative. Staff could have been more proactive in involving the children though. It's mainly outdoors so bring your cag!

Beautifully laid out and informative museum with well-preserved historic abbey and abbot's house - the latter is a must!

Kerr's Miniature Railway, Red Lion caravan Park, Arbroath Abbey and Montrose Air Museum being just a few. Check out the Angus...

When you enter the site you start in a building that contains information on the abbey, models of what it looked like in the thirteenth century, as well as information on the Declaration itself. From here you move into the actual site and see the remains...

It is enough to see it from the outside. It is a ruin and admission is 5 pounds!
