We really enjoyed this. Leaving from Seil Island we saw the famous corryvrechan whirlpool and were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming close to the boat; We also saw the Sea Eagle on her nest and her mate circling above. My father is 90 yrs old but he was comfortably accommodated. David lent us each binoculars and was a mine... More

The coast in this part of Scotland is magnificent and I would definitely recommend a trip with Sealife Adventures. I would have given it 5 stars if the weather had been nicer and the tide higher! The tours start on the beautiful island of Seil south of Oban the tour we chose took us down past Scarba through the straits... More

we had a great 3 hour trip. Skipper Dave and guide were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, plus great with the kids. Scenery spectacular, and very lucky to see a sea eagle, then sea eagle nest, then seals basking. Thoroughly recommended for all ages, and the best way to see the Oban coastline and wildlife. Free hot drinks provided which... More

Imagine seeing the dolphins leaping up right beside you!!!!! This was a wonderful experience, made even better by the obvious joy and delight of the skipper and crew who were just as excited as the passengers even though they must have seen these sights so many times. If you do one thing up here, then this should be it because... More

Had a really enjoyable 5 hr trip. We were well looked after by skipper David & guide Rachel. Saw lots of wildlife - otters, seals, porpoises, an eagle, deer, feral goats & more but sadly no whales. The water conditions of the Corryvreckean were strange & fascinating. The mackeral & pollock caught by the kids were delicious for supper that evening.... More

From Oban on the Atlantic coast of Scotland we drove about 8 miles to catch our boat. A beautiful arched bridge took us from the mainland to the isle of Seil and the marine Biologist, diver, BBC film-maker and skipper David Ainsley welcomed us to his 900 horsepower Porpoise II boat which was waiting at the other end of a... This is the second time this year I have been on the 5 hour wildlife trip once with my wife and once solo. Both trips were different but memorable for the different mammals seen on both land and in the water as well as the many species of bird. On a calm sea day porpoises could be seen swimmimg beneath... The Captain and crew could not have been more helpful or knowledgable. And making sure we were all treated as indivduals. Starting from the cup of tea and biscuits within 5 minutes of setting sail. and the crew going round and speaking to everyone ensuring that you were able to see the wild life and understand all the knowledge they... This is a wonderful area which I have visited several times before and visited Sealife Adventures also on a number of occasions. David Ainsley is very knowledgeable about wildlife and conservation matters for this area in particular, although of course he cannot guarantee you will see anything - wildlife's a bit like that. But if you take your chances on... More
