The Glencoe Ski resort was recommended to us, whilst staying in Lochearnhead, Scotland. We were told that we could get the ski chair lift up the mountain for £10 each. We were not disappointed..... The views were magnificent. There was snow on the tops and we had a great view down in the glen. From the top you can ski,... More

We have skied this half term at the Nevis range and Glencoe! Glencoe gets the award for friendly staff, a warm log fire, fab reasonably priced food and the most wonderful views - just breathtaking - we will be back thank you for making our trip to Scotland so great! More

Every chance I get I travel from Edinburgh to Glencoe as soon as there is snow. It may not be the closest but it has the best vibe in Scotland. Skiers and boarders alike all happy to chat and all the staff are excellent. Probably the only place I've not seen the ski / board divide! Just wish I lived... More

I've taken ski vacations every year for the last 20 years or more. I love skiing. I've been on 3 trips this season alone - one to France with the family, one to Switzerland with a mate and now a weekend up in Scotland at Glencoe Mountain. Having grown up with Alpine skiing, I have never really rated highland skiing... More

We used the chairlift at Glencoe mountain in order to get some better pictures of the amazing valley below. The area at the top is amazing for veiws, and the nearby peak isn't too hard of a short climb to get a slightly different angle as well. This area of Scotland is truly amazing, and offers amazing scenery that takes... More

I skied at Glencoe quite a few times this year (2010). What I really liked is that I could get twice (at least) as much skiing as I did at the other Scottish resorts. Glencoe has terrain to suit all levels of skier. The plateau run is fantastic for beginners - possibly the best beginners run in Scotland. It's long... More

I have been both Skiing and Biking at Glencoe and love it. For biking there is a great range of trails to suit all ability levels all taking in some of the best views of Scotland!! The same can be said for skiing, as a keen backcountry skier, Glencoe will give you access to some amazing ski terrain. The centre... More

Have been to Glen Coe resort many times skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking. It is easily my favourite resort due to the mix of terrain available to ski/ride. The cafe at the bottom of the chair offers great views and has a decent coffee and the staff are all pretty helpful and happy to see you. I'll be back there... More

Although it is small it offers more challenging pistes compared with others in Scotland while still catering for beginners and is definately the most scenic of all the resorts. It also offers great food at the bottom and is relatively cheap in comparison! One of the managers is also a real hottie, I think his name is Dan or something? More

The resort may be small but has so much to offer. In the winter in my opinion offers the best skiing in Scotland with the greatest range of slopes from beginners to seasoned experts and when there is no snow late in the season or summer the mountain biking is excellent, with trails being built and repaired continuously, with a...
