the trip to the castle is nice and the views fabulous, but in keeping with sadly a lack of interest in tourists, the cabin that advertises lovely seafood is NOT open on a saturday! At the height of the summer season! Bizarre. Dont they want customers? Shame as its a great spot to eat on a summers day more

We went south from Tarbert on the west coast road to Campbelltown and then back up the narrow road on the east to Skipness. A warm summer day.
