When the present owners took over the Centre some fifteen months ago they re-named it, more appropriately, the Nadura Centre. Situated in one of Scotlands remaining wilderness areas the Centre helps considerably with an understanding of how life was and continues to be in a remote area. Sympathetic development continues and is unobtrusive to the existing building or indeed the... More

We spotted this place as we were passing and decided to stop for a coffee as we had just come off the ferry. We visited this Centre, in September 10, as a very disabled person, i was so very very upset, i couldn't get down into the gift shop at all, as there were three deep steps to get down, we asked how we could get down into the shop as there was another three deep steps on the other side, we were... In response to the above review, may I firstly explain that the Centre was originally built to house an exhibition in the Glasgow Garden Festival in the late 1980s, and then rebuilt on the present site shortly afterwards. We took ownership of the Centre in Spring 2010. The day of this person's visit, a member of staff had advised me... More
