I recently spent the day visiting Whithorn Priory, Museum and Visitor Centre and wanted to pass on my sincere thanks to those who created these displays and work here. Whithorn Priory is strongly evocative of the set of a horror movie- and I mean that in a good way. From the timeworn tilted tombstones to the ruined cathedral nave to the decrepit crypt, the only element missing was a deranged ax wielding caretaker.
