Not particularly exciting from an Art perspective but interesting as there was a well presented history of Dundee and its people. More

We had never been here before, it is wonderful. A real insight into past Dundee history. There is a very extensive range of paintings - almost too much to take in. And its all FREE. Great cafe to finish the visit with too. More

The McManus building has been well preserved and is extremely well presented. The shop and cafe are both good, but for me the highlight was rediscovering the incredible variety of paintings hung in the gallery. The building is beautiful in itself with a very interesting museum featuring the history people and culture of Dundee.Add to this excellent temporary exhibitions( Cadell the colourist meantime) Visitors of all ages would enjoy a visit! More
