The 14th century castle is set in lovely grounds & you can get free a free guided tour. A great , inexpensive day out for all the family. I've been many times with my children & we all love it. More

This park offers a stunning old castle in beautiful surroundings. It has a very nice park both for young and older kids and lovely nature trails. A beautiful walk in winter or summer More

Dean castle is great for getting out a good long walk, and makes good fun for children with the play parks. And also for the animal lovers up the country walk with our wee dog up past the cows n horses then back down through the pets corner :D x More

A great place to spend a day out especially with children. It is free & there are several things to do when you get there. There is a play park, picnic area, make a visit inside the castle, activities on through holidays, see some animals - I love it! More

We live near the park and vist often. The grounds are extensive and well kept, there's always work going on to improve them. The rangers run lots of organised activities for kids (and adults), it's a good idea to check the website before you go as some events need to be booked in advance. We don't often go into the... My family love this park. The kids love visiting the animals and playing at the swing park and best of all its free! Well maintained and lovely scenic trails. More
