A really well designed visitor experience with good audio commentary and lots to see. I am not an ardent Royalist but it was very interesting seeing all the different cabins on the yacht, especially the contrast between the spacious suites and the crew quarters. The tea room was lovely with fantastic views and good service. We only had coffee as... More

A great way to pass a couple of hours. It is a bit of a time warp. However it did bring back memories of when she was docked in Toronto and Princess Di running to meet her children.

We were fortunate enough to visit when it was not too busy and found the whole tour fascinating. The audio guide is very informative and you get to see a significant proportion of the vessel. Even the tea rooms surprised us by beig reasonably priced.

A great audio tour of a ship with a fascinating history. Definitely worth the hour and a half. A nice mixture of the stories of both the royals and the crew. Very easy to get to on bus 34 or 35. Convenient. It's a very odd location to get into once you're there though, as they seem to drag you... More

Visited with friends who were visiting from overseas. Self guided audio tour is excellent, and lets you go at your own pace around this truly unique attraction - interesting, and surprising easily worth the money (even if you rush around it, it would probably still take a good 90 mins). Great to see how the other half lived, and the... More

Thank you so much for your five-star review. We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the audio tour and seeing the contrast between the Royal Apartments and Crew’s Quarters. As you mention, all proceeds from admissions, events, the Tea Room and Gift Shop go back into preserving Britannia for future generations to come - thank you for visiting... More

Loved visiting the yacht. Very interesting and the cafe was good too. Not as pricey as you would think. Allow a couple of hours though.

Really, really worthwhile and we loved it. Excellent audio tour as part of the ticket so you can go your own speed and listen and learn as you wish. Highly recommended. I hope we get the Royal Yacht Britannia back if the Scots choose independence!

This was a most enjoyable visit - very interesting and nostalgic. Appreciative that when the ship was built it would have been the top of its class. Liked the explanation on how steam powered her along! Tea and cream scones a must.Thoroughly recommended.

Thank you very much for recommending Britannia to others, Alex. It sounds like the Royal Deck Tea Room was a real highlight for you – the scones are made fresh in the Galley so our team of chefs will be delighted to hear how much you enjoyed them. Many thanks for your lovely review. More
