The statue of Bobby is just across the street from the entrance to Greyfriars Kirkyard. Just inside the very cool iron gate, is Bobby's grave. The grave of his owner is also nearby. This graveyard is worth taking a stroll through. There are many very old and very creepy grave stones, as well as the infamous "black mausoleum" which is... More

Its good to learn about Greyfriers Bobby's real story. Its so much more interesting than Walt Disney. My husband and I enjoyed tracking down this monument, his grave, and further items in the Edinburgh Museum like his collar. More

If you're an animal lover you can't not stop here. It's a touching story and always makes me think of my puppies and how I would want someone to treat my dog as kindly. The kirk yard is very interesting as well. The site of George MacKenzie is here and is supposedly incredibly haunted by and evil spirit. More importantly,... More

It is a moving story and it is suitably recorded for posterity. This is a short stop on a wider tour or a walk by on the way to a festival activity or shopping trip More

the story is the best part of the memorial. If you are there then worth going to the graveyard behind to see the grave and there are some lovely old crypts. If you get the chance at a ghost tour then take it! lots of fun and scary. More

This is great, but just a part of the story. If you know the story you will follow up and get the whole deal. Otherwise, it's just a dog on a pillar! More

It was nice to see the statue and it's very close to his final resting place in Greyfriars cemetery. Definitely worth a visit. More

We adored the story of beloved Bobby and his master and loved the antiquated cemetery! We looked for Tom Riddle's headstone but did not succeed in finding it before we had to leave. More
