Just been on a visit to greyfriars, discovered that the visitor centre is only open on a Thursday from November to March. Considering the number of tourists who where in Edinburgh in early December it was disappointing to find the visitor centre closed. more

nice area where the dog is situated although when i went he had ice cream in his eyes...like he had conjunctivitess, any way worth a look and a nice wee story behind it! more

If you have read any commercial guide to edinburgh Greyfriars Bobby will likely have a couple of pages written about him and his somewhat epic tale for a small dog. If you are here during the festival the tiny statue will be surrounded by chinese tourists clicking away at him, and you will be surprised just how small it is.... more
