So nice not to be sat next to teenagers playing with their phones and throwing popcorn. Plenty of space, great atmosphere. Also enjoyed the film "Even the Rain" very much. Wish we didn't live hundreds of miles away.

It's really a Filmhouse with a great atmposhere. Variety of films to select from, they change quite often so there's always something to see. I will be back next week.

Brilliant place for all independant films, foreign films and national ones too. Hosts many events and hs a lovely cafe.. dont be surprised if you bump in to someone famous in there.. the variety of films in amazing.

A trip to the Filmhouse is an altogether more civilised experience than your modern cinema. Independent cinema at it's best. Always packed with enthusiastic patrons while the big chains around the corner echo the emptiness. It has a fabulous bar that serves delicious food. A regular Saturday night haunt now!

Quirky cinema that shows mixture of mainstream and art house films. Good bar/cafe attached that serves til late. Relaxed/PC place ie a single woman could sit with a glass of wine and a book and not feel out of place
