My family and I visited the Dynamic Earth and enjoyed our visit. My children (3& 4) were a bit young for the visit- but a week later my son can still tell me about how dinosaurs evolved into sharks, were killed when a meteorite hit earth, and about lava and glaciers! The first part of the exhibit is going from... more

Surprised to see negative reviews from people who have clearly missed the point or the message of Dynamic Earth, I was however humoured by people who compare this to Disney and similar attractions. •Disney huge multinational corporation worth billions of dollars with thousands of employees run by a mouse. •Dynamic Earth charity set up to explain earth science to the... more

I honestly believe that a lot of people who give Dynamic Earth a bad review are those people who wish to go somewhere with their kids & be entertained. Dynamic Earth will do this, but you have to be prepared to put a little effort in. This place is a geology museum – it has some of the most amazing... more

We planned to go to Dymanic Earth on Thursday. Looked up their website and saw that they had an underground car park - but when we arrived we found that the car park was tiny. As we drove into the car park there were people carrying briefcases coming out - obviously not going to Dynamic Earth but parking there as... more

Where to start? Well, we started with lunch and I have never seen such an abysmal collection of hot food in my life. I endured years of Scottish school lunches and I can promise you, our dinner lady has a new job at 'Our Dynamic Earth'. All the usual suspects were there, overcooked haggis, neeps and tatties, dried out chicken... more

As title, worst and I can't even find any words to describe that. Nothing is real inside. Just a some rock with the animal shape. Only few thing that can be considered high-tech. Not worth to pay such entrance fee to just look at such "ROCK" and lousy animation movie (for kids will be nice). Is terrible!! more

Dynamic earth is a walk through expereince taking you through the history of the planet and into the future. We've been three times this year already our kids love it. The ice mass in the ice age section and the interactive section on Dinosaurs are particularly excellent. Takes about an hour to move through, initail sections based on npresentations, such... more

This "attraction" was absolutely terrible. My wife and I visited Edinburgh in September 2005, and we got roped into this waste of time and money by our tour company. The tickets were roughly $25-30 per person. The advertisements touted it as a technological marvel, where you travel through time to experience the primordial soup, the ice age and a "real... more

This was a really interesting, factual, eye opening experience. We did not really know what to expect when we went in but you cannot fail to learn something on this tour. The tour is in 2 forms, you start off lookiing around and learning but then you go into a time capsuaul which takes you back to the start of... more

I never visited the 'Millenium Experience' at the Dome in London, but from what I remember reading about it, this place has a lot in common. For your money, you get to walk around a series of corridors and fibreglass-scapes, trying to make sense of the bizarrely presented facts and figures concerning our planet and its origins. No doubt there... more
