Been for for all sorts of gigs... It's a great venue. Go. Take a cushion if you're not on the cabaret tables. Bar's good. Staff excellent. If the music floats your boat, there isn't a better place to hear it. More

Lovely venue for music acts where things feel quite intimate. Visited several different occasions and like when there is an option to sit at a table rather than just rows of chairs. Pews are a bit of a challenge, but add to the character of the venue. Accoustics are good. More

The Queen's Hall attracts the more mature type of performer like Joan Armatrading and Rick Wakeman. I'm told that performers enjoy playing at TQH, and the acoustics do seem rather good. It's a converted church (I think) and still has the original box pews in the rear half. If you're buying a ticket for a show, avoid the side "pews"... More

We saw Courtney Pine at the Queen's Hall last week a part of the Jazz Festival. I had never been there before, but was pleasantly impressed by the "cabaret style" table layout - far less cramped than other venues I have attended - and by the acoustics, which were good. The bar is spacious and the staff were much more... More

We visited the Queen Hall to see the comedian Milton Jones, who was absolutely fantastic. It's such a shame that the hall was so incredibly hot. It was near unbearable and I would have left if I wasn't sitting in the middle of a row, as I didn't want to inconvenience the people around me more, as I think we... More
