very limited number of acess points unless you push through the hedges. Large open space and lots of grass but nothing to encourage you to use the park for exercise. Doubt anyone would actually walk through it if it were not to access the Botanic Gardens.

Lovely views, quite peaceful, lung of the city.
Just watch out for dogs' dirt if you walk on the grass. Shame as children just love to run free but end up getting covered in the mess. I wish some dog owners could be fined our step on the dirt.

There are 4 tennis courts, a basketball, (or netball?) pitch, a small children's play area and a small loch with ducks and swans.It's quite large, so there's adequate playing or walking space - but at the end of the day it is just another park.

This lovely park is opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens and is a great attraction to combine with the gardens. The parks are large and have some great facilities, including tennis courts and a childrens playground.
