We went for the underground tour and had a young lady took us to a set of vaults built in and around the building of the old town. The main thing here seemed to be for the guide to try and get people excited. She started by asking who was a believer and who was not and then seemed to... more

Ive been to edinburgh a few times now and have done a few of these tours- this one, which went to the greyfriars cemetery was pretty good actually- was a good-sized crowd on the evening we went and this encouraged everyone to get more jittery and nervous- afterwards a few pints in the pub rounded the evening off nicely. I... more

Our tour guide was brilliant, funny, informative, enthusiastic and clearly loved every moment of freaking people out! varied and informative tour with a smattering of Edinburgh history and stories of torture and unexplained activity. A graveyard in the dark is always gonna freak me out but hearing the stories behind the graves and the buildings in the kirk made me... more

Graveyard Tour delivered with a bit more sophistication that Auld Reekie could muster. Fun, spooky and a good opportunity to learn some of Edinburgh’s history that might not be in a school text book. more

This tour starts off at St.Giles cathedral and the tour guide tells you about the history of scotland which was very interesting, he gets the audience to participate just to liven things up a bit . Then you have a 5 minute walk to greyfriars kirkyard where you are told more about the history of edinburgh and the flodden wall.... more

We went for this tour as I love ghost walks and anything with a spooky history, this was neither, just £8.50 each for some waffle about the city and then into a gated doorway in a side street, this took us into a cellar/cavern area with a fie exit at the end leading into a bar! (not very underground or... more

It was my husband and my first trip to Edinburgh and we heard a lot about the ghost walks so we decided to book this one after all the rave reviews. Our guide was friendly and knew her history, but man, was it BORING. If you plan to book this tour for a scare I'd book elsewhere because it was... more

I would not reccomend this tour. Most of was a walking tour, with a bit of history thrown in. The underground aspect was a real dissapointment. Just some arches under a bridge! Peppered with lots of noise and music from the bands playing next door.! more
