Golf course was great (although golf not so!) and food and surrounds were really good. More

Not an easy course and you need to be quite fit :o)......excellent changing facilities...best I`ve seen. Never had a meal but prices seemed very reasonable with a 2 course Sunday Roast @ £14.95 and served at lovely/neatly set out tables. Would definately recommend it :o) More

Guy in pro shop treated us like something he'd stepped on. Charged us for one of our party too ill to attend. Needlessly as 2 ball instead of a 3 ball, what's the problem? Member 4 balls wouldn't let us through so we had a pint and bacon roll at the 9th to let 4 ball go ahead. Pro shop... More

The food was average. Too many of the restaurants in St. Andrew's live off the location. Better presentation cost nothing more. More

I read in the Golf Nook website the Dukes golf course was recently renovated so I tried it out. It's fabulous and I feel it's a hidden gem. If it were anyplace else but St. Andrews it would be famous. If you're in the area try it out. It's not a links course but check out the review at www.golfnook.com... More

The Duke's sit overlooking the town of St Andrews and winds through some beautiful hills snaking up and down. While the Links courses (the Old, New and Jubilee) are flat and very walkable, the use of a buggy adviseable on this up and down layout. In addition, the walk from green to next tee is a bit longer (quite a... More

This course, about 5 minutes from St. Andrews is owned by the Kohler Company, owners of the Olf Course Hotel. They have poured a lot of money into it and it is a very nice facility. It is a parkland style course as opposed to the links courses on the coast. It has some elevation and sports some outstanding views... More

It started off as one of those mornings you generally try to avoid. A cracking March morning and two excited golfers heading off to a very respected club with the eternal optimists' approach to travel, not allowing for woeful map reading skills. The earlier-than-usual tee off time was fast approaching and we were lost. Eventually, my old playing partner, Dave,... More
