The many golf courses in the St. Andrews Links are fine and interesting, but the terrain is flat and these are mostly similar 'links' courses. I found that many other golf courses were more interesting to be on. The R&A and "Old Course" is all about 400+ years of golf history, Championship moments, and interesting stories. More

Strictly members only but still the "Hallowed Turf" of golf. You may not get inside but the building is well worth a visit even though it's only to be able to say, "I've been there!" More

I love the way that you can just walk the course and get pictures at the famous spots. Played the course 34 years ago and would love to have played it again. The greens are stunning and BIG! More
