I reviewed this theatre fairly recently. Sadly it has closed due to lack of funding from Arts bodies in Scotland. A great shame. It is however supposed to reopen shortly under the aegis of the local Council so hopefully we eill be able to use its facilities again.

One of the centres of culture in St. Andrews. I hear this place may close due to lack of funding. This would be very, very sad, and a great loss to all. Anyone who ever visits St. Andrews MUST taste the warm experience offered at this beautiful theatre - go show your support for the Arts here!

Great when going to theatre for a meal. Nice feeling about the place. Not a great deal on the plate but ample and most enjoyable

Kingarroch at byre no longer there and now just basic soup and sandwich lunch and no evening meals at all. Cuppa available during day and child area still there but not as good. Sad.

Our family really enjoyed Snow White - well scripted and a great performance from an enthusiastic and energetic cast. This is a lovely theatre and, to my mind, knocks the spots off many of the bigger city theatres. Only minor complaint was the online booking system which split up our 4 seats either side of the sound desk when there... More

Hats off to the cast of Snow White this year - can honestly say that this years production was the best that I have seen! The theatre is quite small which meant that the cast were able to get members of the audience involved. Theatre has a lovely little bar too.

I've known the Byre on and off for over thirty years. In its current incarnation it is a great small regional theatre with a very varied programme. We were there recently for a music event which was excellent, its size makes for a very intimate and involving experience. Will keep coming back regularly again

Booked a dinner and then returned again two nights later. Food and service was excellent. Interesting choices cooked to order and Highly recommend the challenging "raspberry stack" as a dessert. Thank you Hannah for making our visit so enjoyable!!.

Kingarroch Inn have the dining franchise. They provided an excellent lunch, good service and a lovely atmosphere all round. Will return! Especially as I live just across the road!
