One the grand scale there are better tours, malt rooms... but for something close to glasgow this is pretty good. Better than glengoyne I thought. we did the high-end tour and tasted 2 whiskys while walking about the facilities (very nice) and then 4 more in the tasting room. So I advise this. More

This distillery tour was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgable and did a great job of explaining the process and taking us through the whole factory. The tasting portion of the tour was also really great, the guide knew everything about all of the different blends we tried and they were delicious. The prices in the gift shop were not... More

Had a tour, but it was quite short; (there is no bottling plant etc on the site) and cost £6.00 each. Felt a little short-changed in this. More

We were lucky enough to take our £6 p.p tour on a quiet day which meant that Chris, our guide, ran a tour just for us! His knowledge of the subject matter was amazing, as was his flexibility. I tasted from both the last of the fermenting tanks AND the raw spirit from the still which really enhanced the experience.... More

A great way to spend an hour or so even if you only have a passing interest in whisky and it's history. I love the stuff, but why wife is not a believer, yet we were both equally entertained throughout. Very competitively priced and professionally done. More
