One of my favourite spots for a romantic lunch. Beautiful surroundings and dining room, charming staff, attentive (without being overly so) and fine food with a distinctly Scottish and local flavour. Lunch for two around the £45 mark but beautifully cooked and presented. Just a pity they weren't open in the evening. More

This is a modern 1990s building based on a 1901 design by Glasgow's favourite architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. It is beautifully done and the setting, Bellahouston Park, is fantastic on a sunny day.
