As a family we delighted in celebrating my daughters 21st at the Slouch Bar, Corinthian Aug 2nd 08. Staff were vey helpful, particularly Sarah who managed the bar very efficently for most of the evening on her own later backed up by Jamie thank you both again! We had ordered nibbles which were also of a particularly high standard, especially... more

superb venue which has declined deplorably in recent months, extremely dirty rooms, horrendous toilets, staff not dressed accordingly, all in all a massive let down, some years ago this was a top glasgow venue guaranteeing top services. Not so now. Only saving grace this visit is the unmistakeably fine chef who produced terrific meals with 5* presentation, he should leave... more

A friend and I went to the Corinthian for drinks after having dinner at nearby restaurant. We ended up in the "lite bar" and loved it. Gorgeous Victorian ceilings + contemporary furnishings. The bar was busy (it was a Saturday night) but bartenders were efficient and friendly. Drinks were less expensive than we expected (about 4 pounds for a beer... more

On Friday 7th September, my wife and treated a male friend to a meal in the restaurant. Negative points: we wanted the table for 7.30 but couldn't get one until 8.00pm - On arrival the restauarant was almost empty so I don't know what the problem was in giving us a table when we wanted it. Call me a bit... more

Having lived in Glasgow for a number of years, I was fully aware of the splendour associated with the Corinthian. The beautiful, elegant building is simply stunning and I’ve always enjoyed my nights in their bars. However, I had never before eaten in their restaurant. I had always planned on eating here, but for one reason or another it had... more

As far as I am concerned The Corinthian is the only nite spot in Glasgow. Its dramatic high ceilings and unusual blend of old and new makes a fantasic setting for an even better evening. I am yet to eat there although friends that have say it is great. The club is big and airy, the drinks are well priced... more

My fiancee and I went to Corinthian to celebrate and we could not have had a more pleasant experience! The staff went out of their way to be helpful to us. They recommended some great wines and while we were waiting for our main course to arrive (which did take some time), the manager came over to apologise and ended... more

Reviews told me that dining at The Corinthian was a sylish affair. Much as I enjoy class I think a Restaurant must have some substance. I had a reservation for 8:30pm on a Saturday night to celebrate my engagement, thinking this would be somewhere special. On arriving for our table we where advised that the table was not ready go... more
