Nice big park with lots to do from water sports to various swing parks to M & D's theme park. Research it before you go to get the best from it. More

This park is a beautiful piece of parkland in the middle of a built up area. It is enormous with something for everyone - lovely walks around the lake and a fun area for children. More

Nice place for a free afternoon day out and picnic. Good for kids and theme park (charge) is good fun. Great for walking and cycling. Also has a small beach area and shores where you can walk and kids can play. The water is very cold and deep and is very dangerous to swim in or paddle in, but makes... More

M&Ds theme park (best when the weather is dry and even better if it's warm); the sandy area with the ice cream van on a hot day; the exhilirating ride on the speedboat around the water. If the weather isn't so good there are indoor rides, a soft play area and Amazonia where you can handle creepy crawlies (eg. tarantula)... More

Today however was the last straw. The midges (or some related species) have always been a problem at Strathclyde Park what... More

The park itself is a fantastic walk especially if we have the weather but the highlight for me was amazonia for an extra £1 you can enjoy the experience of the handling session, meeting some of the worlds fierced creatures, included in the entrance fee is the knowledge of the staff who are very polite and informative of any question...
