This has to be a retail enthusiasts dream with John Lewis Partnership at the top, the House of Fraser at the other end and with side alleys, the jewellery quarter, St. Enoch centre with Hamley's, where esle should a shopaholic go? Enjoy and take plent of money or credit cards. More

So many shops, so many things happening in the street. kids got special balloons made into shapes. It is a great place to shop and get a meal too More

The middle part of Glasgow's 'Golden Z' - joined by Sauchiehall Street at the top and Argyle Street to the bottom, it has everything from budget to high-end, and much more atmosphere than the out-of-town shopping centres popping up everywhere like Braehead and Silverburn! More

Buchanan Street really does seem to offer something for everyone. Large indoor malls at each end of the street (with attached car parking), and between them and the Buchanan Street itself, all main retail points are covered. Lots of shops but unfortunately most of them close quite early. We did manage to do much shopping because by the time we finish our sight-seeing tours, it was already evening and by then most of the stores were closing. Wanted to shop in Primark which closes a little later but was unlucky coz they temporary closed the store on... More
