A tour around my favourite Whisky's distillery definitely lived up to my expectations.
Loved it.
Good tour, nice facility and interesting history of this old distillery.

As a Whisky drinker, I found the tour of the distillery very informative. I learned lots about how Single Malt Whisky is made and now feel I can make a better choice when deciding which to buy.
I purchased a bottle of the 12 year Glenlivet and am finding it very pleasing. As with others I feel that perhaps at...

Thanks for your review Douglas. The reason we don't offer more than one dram at the end of the tour is due to space constraints - when we are busy in the summer months there is not enough space in the dram room for multiple tours and offering more than one dram takes a bit more time. I'm sure you'll...

Standard tour of the Glenlivet distillery with a very knowledgeable guide. Shame that you can only try one of the three whiskies for free at the end... but all in all very well guided tour and lovely surrounding countryside,

Thanks for the review Alex. We are a Five-Star Visitor Attraction, as awarded by VisitScotland and we work hard to ensure all our guides have a great knowledge of the production process and our history.
We hope to see you back here one day soon!

On a trip with friends we visited a few distilleries - this was one of them. The building gives an initial good impression. Inside the shop and cafe building another impression was waiting - a huge coil (about 10 feet high and 3 feet diameter) with around 120 bottles of malt whisky pointing inwards and outwards on the coil -...

Been here twice. Obviously a popular whisky worldwide. Very clean and well kept visitor center. Lots of merchandise, but wish there were more rare bottlings of Glenlivet. Staff friendliness is average, but both times I've been there, huge tour buses had brought in loads of people, so it was busy and packed. The cafe is good addition; try the Glenlivet...

We visited Glenlivet for lunch as part of a day touring around the Cairngorms by car. Well worth the effort once we got there. Staff were really friendly, the restaurant offered good quality meals and of course, the whisky is to die for!!!!!! There were several coach parties there at the same time as us but caused no problems whatsoever....

We visited The Glenlivet today and enjoyed a very good tour. The distillery has been enlarged and the new areas only opened last June. Because it is all new they have designed the tour with disabled in mind as well. So wheelchair users can get the distillery experience as well, although they do suggest booking as only one chair is...

Its a long drive to get to the Glenlivet distillery, but its here to avoid being detected by the excise men! The scenary on the way is part of the experience.
Worth including in a tour, except that the driver can't sample the drams. :-)
I've been on other distillery tours which have charged significantly and offered less.
One day...
