A lovely path which took 5 adults and two 7 year olds an hour to walk. The kids then decided to swim in the Loch! Lovely.
What a lovelly spot - we walked from our hotel (Coylumbridge Hilton) and spent a few hours walking there and around the loch. There is a little shop in a traditional cottage near the car park and the footpath is well kept. An excellent low-cost option to kill a few hours.
We did the trail on a lovely sunny day and its the most beautiful place! It had been raining though meaning we got a bit muddy but thats alright, the views were stunning the walk is good! Although I would advise lots of insect repellent, we forgot and were eaten alive!

Went a visit here on a lovely summers day in August. Beautiful sights but think the car park charge is too steep at £1.50 per adult (not per car) and 50p per child.

This is part of the Rothiemurchus estate. There is a car park with ample space, and you can explore for miles and be amazed by the wonder of stunning colours, aromas, wildlife, and the surrounding scenery of the Cairngorms. There is a walk round the entire loch, as well as a shop with toilet facilities. Well worth a visit. The... More

So it proved be,well tended and signposted paths round this super scenic loch with it's own castle. Although mountain bikers also frequent... More
