Had a trip to Cairngorm last winter for skiing - charged full price for just a couple of lifts operating - daylight robbery. If you have only a few lifts running, you only have a few lift operators, and less machinery running costs, and wear and tear etc but they still charge full price. Cairngorm Mountain is an excellent place to ski and snowboard for snow sports enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Cairngorm was excellent in mid march this year, we got there and only about 6 runs were open, but that was on a mild day! then it snowed and was fantastic.
