Evertime I have been here I have met a great mix of people, from tourists to locals all having a great timein a relaxed fun atmosphere. The music is great as are the local beers from the Black Isle Brewery. Well worth a visit everytime you come to Inverness. More

We went to the Hootananny on our last night in Inverness and was great. It came highly recommended from our Hotel. It gets busy so show up a little early have an extra pint of Black Ilse Brewery's best and enjoy the music. More

Ive been to hoots a few times and have taken Spanish family friends and they love it . I'd say it's the closest to authentic Scottish traditional Dramming . It's brilliant or bands through out the week so thumbs up for me . Prices are on the high side but you grin and bare it . I'd go back any... More

n amazing though slightly strange mixture of Thai restaurant, pub and live venue. Very tasty food, good ales and very nice music (at least when I was there). Give it a try, it is worth it. More

The live music can be great. Plenty choice of beers. Only problem is getting a seat due to popularity. More

I’ve been into this pub twice in the last three weeks and on both occasions I’ve witnessed a member of staff being difficult with a customer – and on the last occasion one of those customers was me. On the latter, the barman seemed hell-bent on being difficult and rude and anything I asked for was met with an unhelpful... More

Great music, but it was impossibly full of smelly, sweaty people when my boyfriend and I wanted to get a drink here on a Saturday evening near Halloween. We ended up walking in, staying for a song, and then walking back out because it was just too full. More

we went at 9 as the band was supposed to start at 9:30 they showed up at 9:40, fooled around till 10:15 and finally started at that time. the music was terrible. the waiter came and picked our drinks off the table when we were not even finished. Total chaos. I do not recommend at all. More

This was a great place to end up at in our first night in Inverness. They had great musicians and the Thai food was definitely great after several days of fish and chips. A good place both for older folks traveling and a young crowd. (I was traveling with my dad, so I appreciated that he could enjoy the music... More
