Their new visitor center is the best I have ever seen anywhere! They do an amazing job informing you about the history with different technologies without it being too confusing. The battlefield hits you emotionally and I love the fact that everyone gets an audio guided tour of the battlefield without extra cost. more

The new Culloden Battlefield experience has to be one of the best attractions in Scotland. We've been to Culloden 3 times and are going back in October 2007, hoping the Culloden Walk stone we purchased will have been installed. Great way to spend a couple of hours as this place is steeped in history, you can almost hear the clashing of steel and roar of gun fire as you stand on the battlefield itself. We visited Culloden in May, 2006, using our British Heritage Pass (well recommended- saved us over A$1000 each in entrances on our 30 day drive).
