We did not go into the museum, but you are able to walk the battlefield without paying an entrance fee. Famous and important battle in 1745, which is all explained in an excellent and very new visitor center. Gift shop and restaurant were outstanding as well. Also did a guided tour of the battlefield itself, but there is not much to see....only knowing that you are standing where it took place is enough for many.

A stop at Culloden Battlefield, site of the last war in Great Britian is a must for anyone interested in history.
