Fantastic wee cafe tucked away up a spiral stair case in an alladins cave of a bookshop. The staff are all great and seem to be enjoying themselves too. Great soup, Coffees and cakes too!! Treat yourself!! more
Huge second hand book shop in converted church. Over 100,000+ books. Small coffee shop inside with great choice of coffees! Defiantly worth a visit. more
If you get a chance, definitely come to Leakey's! Your eyes will bug out of your head a little when you walk in and see the massive shelves of books. You think you'll come in and just look around but I guarantee you'll end up buying a book (or 2!). I had lunch at the cafe upstairs as well --... more
A perfect place to waste a few hours of a rainy day in the Highlands. The most astonishing selection of used books on the planet. Located in a stunning converted church, complete with peat fire and spiral staircase leading to an upper level with a cafe, more books and prints, including old maps and illustrations from books. A bit pricey... more
Wide ranging subject matter, though perhaps not for specialists. Astonishing place to STAND & STARE within. Look around, and up, and around. Wow! Books, books, books. If youre passing through Inverness the caff is worthwhile even if you THINK you wont buy a book [but you will, of course]. more
