The drive from Loch Lomond to Glencoe, we went on the way to Loch Ness and Inverness, is spectacular and the natural scenery is not to be missed. Don't miss out and take the single track roads, unfortunately it was snowing so we left them this time however we have done this in the past and its spectacular. More

We have passed through Glencoe many times but each journey is better than the one before. The awe inspiring scenery is the very best I have seen. We have seen it in rain, hail, snow and sunshine. This truly is the best scenery in the world and should not be missed when visiting Scotland. There is plenty of parking along... More

Many years ago in my youth , I rode through Glencoe on a motorcycle , early morning , in the mist , with the Piper playing . It was one of the most eerie feelings I have ever had , and made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck . This Monday I did the same journey... More

I went on a half day safari with Karl of Glencoe Photography in mid November 2011. The other people booked for that day had backed out and I wasn't in a very sociable mood but Karl was great company and gave me some great tips for my digital SLR - a really enjoyable morning, seeing spectacular scenery I probably wouldn't... Had a great visit to Glencoe. We weren't skiing, just messing about..... £20 for a family ticket on the chairlift (2 ad & 2 ch) The is one hell of an experience... kids loved it. You can see a burn and the mountain bike track underneath you. On the way down you have a great view. You are provided with... More

Both my wife and I like Scotland so we decided to combine a visit to our friend Marysee at Culdees Farm, Fearnan with some hotels that had internet deals in the area. October was ideal with quiet roads, dramatic stormy skies but no rain. I had seen Beinn Fhada from a distance ( when viewed side on it looks almost perfectly... More

The only negative was coach loads of tourists, getting out of their coaches for 5 minutes and then driving off to make space for the next coach load. Get out and walk and if you can't walk get help to take you a little off the beaten track - the atmosphere is amazing! We walked and climbed into the lost... More

Would love to stay here for a few days in the future. We arrived on a beautiful sunny day and we spent some considerable time down at the river under the stone bridge. Breath taking scenery - just waiting to be explored. Happy to have had a wee glimpse but next time we want more! More

Glen Coe, Scotland, brooding and moody, the atmosphere changing minute by minute as the weather and the light moves around the valley where the MacDonalds were murdered in the 17th century. I have driven the A82 route many times over the past 45 years and always stop to take some photographs come rain or shine. This year I decided to... More

Glencoe is a charming village with charming B&B in the middle of the Highland mountains. Good for walks, cosy to look at the rain trough the window of a warm place. How can't this be fun? More
