My wife and I were lucky enough to be married in this fabulous castle. We stayed for the week in the guesthouse which is across the loch from the castle and we fell in love with the place. As we stayed at the guesthouse and because we were being married we were allowed unrestricted visits to the castle where you... More

I think it was the most beautiful castle we have seen in the whole Scotland. It is not the biggest, not the most luxurious, but just the most beautiful and cute one. We stayed nearby the castle (5miles or so) for one night, and we had the chance to see it under the moon light which was magic, and at... More

This castle is very very beautiful! It is located where three lakes come together, forming a beautiful landscape. The view of the castle from outside is amazing and from the inside you can take some nice shots of the lakes. Ah! The kitchen is a MUST see!! The visitor centre, where you can buy the tickets, has also a small... More

Beautifully presented, this is not a typical castle as such, i.e. it is not ruined with ramparts and instead has a number of rooms which have been restored with scenes and exhibits set up inside the building itself. It was very busy when we were there and therefore it felt like you were tripping over one another, but the castle... More

Great tour and wonderful story of the rebuilding of this great castel. Be sure to get there earlier. Tour buses bring large groups of people that fill up the castel making really hard to move around and enjoy the castel. More

A beautifully restored castle in an amazingly scenic position where 3 lochs converge. It's easy to understand why this is a popular venue for weddings! We visited in August which is a very busy time with many visitors, but this didn't detract from the experience. We thought that the staff work hard to make this a very Scottish experience. The...
