Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was part of my 60th Birthday celebration and we were made very welcome by Fiona and Malcolm when we arrived. It was decided that as there were two experiences booked my daughter would do one and go first. She was a bit apprehensive but Fiona put her at her ease and had her do the first few obstacles and then checked she was happy to continue before completing the course. She managed to break the steering on our first vehicle but again this was quickly replaced with another vehicle by Fiona and her team. It was then my turn and after the first few obstacles Fiona led us down a completely different set of obstacles than what we expected!! All in all a very professional enterprise and well worth a visit.

Brilliant ! The best birthday voucher ever ! Had a great time at Experience4x4 near Inverness. We were made very welcome by Fiona and Malcolm who went over all the safety and other stuff before going to our vehicles where we received further instructions on driving the Land Rover Discovery. We then set off with six or seven other 4x4's and from then on over the laps of two slightly different courses it was fun all the way! Non-stop laughs and screams from my wife and the mother-in-law who came along to share the adventure. We all really enjoyed it and would go again!

I wasn't too sure about taking to the wheel but Fiona and Malcolm were great, warm, friendly with the perfect balance of advice and humour. We LOVED it. The course was varied, challenging with guidance as required. Good luck in your next venture. A top team.

With some trepidation me and my son went with our own car to see what it was capable of. We were soon at ease thanks to Fiona and Malcolm, they advised us of what would be best and how to approach the course. We had an amazing time real family adventure. Couldn't recommend it enough we'll definitely be back, thanks again.

This is what the Adventure Course and newly re-opened 'Zone' area are all about. A place to try out your own 4x4 and have fun with the family. Thanks for reviewing our 'Pay and Play' and for recommending us to the world!

What a fantastic time! Didn't stop smiling/screaming the whole way! Just as fun for the passengers as it is for the drivers so even if your not a driver it will still make your day!The staff were great, made us all laugh and feel very welcome. I expected this to be fun but no where near as brilliant as it was!
Can't wait to go back!

What a fantastic adventure, me and my boyfriend went here for my birthday and it was brilliant! Both staff members were super nice, friendly and funny! I really want to do this again even though I screamed the whole way around! The reviews speak for this business!

My son gave me this experience as a birthday present and 'experience', it certainly was. I had once done 4x4 elsewhere in the Highlands and quads in Tunisia but this was better by Farr. ('Farr' - get it? It's located near the village of 'Farr'!)
The couple (Fiona and Malcolm) running the show are friendly and efficient, with adequate instructions and a relaxed manner. It's a convoy system, which is great, because unlike other attractions, you are alone in the car - nae instructor! The course is relatively demanding for those acustomed to tar but quite achievable. There are two loops, each slightly different, and my wife sayed on terra firma to capture my efforts on loop 1, before joining me with teeth (and buttocks?) clenched for loop 2. (I don't think she'll make it to BBC standards as a sports camerawoman on-the-move though.)
One important point. It pelted rain during my 2nd loop and that just made it all the more interesting. Don't duck out because of inclement weather. In fact, this would be a good way to spend some time when it's too wet for sunbathing. Another good thing (in this world of 'soaking the tourist'). The price is per car, not per driver, so more than one in the party can have a go. Great fun.

What a super review, thank you! It was great to see that your wife decided after all to jump into the passenger seat for the second lap and had a big smile at the end! :)

If you want sit on a quad bike to relax and amble around the scottish countryside don't go here. There is an excellent course to navigate and it is literally non stop obstacles throughout. Eight of us took on the course and we all had a great time - despite an age range of 17 to 53. I would say it's pretty tiring, very challenging and theres little scope for loss of concentration. The guys that run the event are informative, relaxed, friendly and helpful. If you don't want to get your gear muddy they'll lend you wellies, waterproof coat and disposable leggings. All in all a very enjoyable experience and well worth the money.

We went yesterday, myself and my 18 daughter drove. We went for 1 hour so 30 mins each. It is really good fun and the cars are easy to drive . I would reccomend it for something to do when you are up near Inverness.

We had such a fun time at experience 4x4. The staff were so helpful and you could tell they really were enjoying themselves too. Worth every penny! I was a beginner on quad bikes but I found it really straightforward and loads of fun. Make sure you take old clothes or clothes that you don't mind getting very mucky. I wore my CAT boots and purchased waterproof trousers for £3 but my partner borrowed welly boots. The gent we took us round the course was such a great guy and a good laugh and we would definitely return based on this excellent customer service!

Hi, Karen.
Thank you for your enquiry.
Is this for the 4x4 or the quads and which date are you thinking of?
Regards
Fiona
