Visited grounds only which were lovely, but expensive. Staff too pushy in pouncing as soon as you enter the gift shop to try and get you to join the National Trust for Scotland.

Took the girlfriend to visit Brodick castle for the first time and she was VERY impressed.

We came after the castle was closed, but just wandering around the grounds and taking in the spectacular view was well worth it. Actually, we liked it best, because we were the only ones there, so it was quiet and we could hear the birds singing. Lovely!

Had a trip to Brodick castle with my family, My son who has Autism and ADD was shouted at by an old fossil who works there, for sitting on one of the chairs. I was so distressed that we found the quickest way out of the "Attraction" and I use the term loosly. Certainly not a family friendly environment and...

The 'Guides' at Brodick Castle are very knowledgeable and have a wealth of interesting information.
The grounds/gardens are very pleasant.
there is a National Trust shop and Cafe/Coffee shop.

Went over Easter for a walk round the grounds and trip round the Castle...a tad expensive and was a bit press-ganged into joining the National Trust at the entrance however the inside of the Castle is really good and there are many knowledgeable and friendly guides throughout the rooms who go out of their way to tell you all about...

We went on Easter Sunday and arrived just after it opened for the day. The staff were very friendly in the entrance shop and persuaded us to join the Trust. Although the Shop wasn't open we enjoyed a walk in the gardens and admired the flowering shrubs, unfortunatly my camera's battery died on me so I did'nt get any photos.
