I think this was the first year in a new location. We were a bit disappointed. Some of the areas were of interest but it was not well sign posted and guides seemed inexperienced. Perhaps we were just unlucky. More

attended this event for the last three years with kids, first year we were there it was fabulous, big effort with the lights - horses coming out of the water, fairies in the wood, fireworks, witches walking about, every year since, it has not had the same flair, not the same level of attraction, i feel, the show around the... I expected more of a forest and less of a sense of walking round a large estate garden. I also expected more water to feature. Even so it was very pretty and atmospheric and my grand daughter enjoyed the interactive sound and light effects. The staff were also very cheerful and helpful. The only big downer was the tatty cafe... More

we were quite disappointed. I think we expected something like a Light&Sound show. Possibly Jean Michel Jarre Music or similar. They did put quite an effort in it but did hit our taste. More

well worth going if you are in the area at the time this is on takes about 1 hr to go round bit pricy but something different not suitable for really small children would run round it in ten mins then be bored More

I have been to a similar event at the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh during the festival one year. Nothing will ever top that. This however was not bad. I haven't been to Faskally so I don't have anything to compare it too. The queue to get in went down quickly and it wasn't too busy inside - despite it being... More
