visited with elderly mother in a wheelchair and a disabled sister. the staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. It was a very nice touch to have a video room showing a tour of the castle and grounds for those that can not go up the stairs. There is also a motability scooter available to go around the gardens... More

The castle houses a huge collection of rifles and other hunting related things as well as amazing furniture using unusual woods. The docents were all well-informed and accommodating to our questions. The gardens were between seasons but should be lovely during the summer. More

Been several times but hadn't been for couple of years. Staff very friendly and kids welcome. They loved dressing up in the Great Hall. Gardens are also lovely for a walk. Usual story with food i.e. expensive. We were going to have lunch but too dear and not great choice. More
