a lovely distillery but the tour is nothing special - tasted only 2 whiskys. This is probably perfect if you are a novice, but not for the serious.

This has been the 10th or 12th distillery we´ve visited. Since it is one of the smallest in scottland it´s still a new experience. The owner of an independent bottling company bought the distillery in the early 2000´s and invested a lot of effort. You can see it and you can feel that during the tour. Just one hint. Don´t...

We're not big Scotch whiskey drinkers, but were curious about how it was made and decided to give this tour a try. The host was excellent. You get a small sample of two different whiskies which we both found to be excellent. The tour was just about the right length and we found it to be well worth our while.

Small, well kept and really an experience not to be missed. There's no shortage of whisky distilleries to visit in Scotland, and by the sheer size (being the smallest in Scotland), Edradour lets you get real close to the art of making an excellent single malt. Friendly and welcoming.

The road getting there (and the footpath from Pitlochry which we didn't take due to rain) is beautiful and also passes by a 300 year old inn in Moulin. We thought the tour was a free one, but not so. We bought a couple treats home then left without a tour. oh well.

We walked up from Pitlochry so that we could enjoy a few different malts. It takes about 45 minutes form the town centre and is a pleasant (uphill) stroll on the way there.
The tour was very entertaining with 2 samples included in the price (£7.50) and a tasting glass to take away.
The distillery has a new tasting bar...

A group of 15 of us visited Edradour Distillery on 30th April 2012. We phoned in advance to ask if they could handle the number, which they could, and during the discussion they adivsed that children were not allowed in the distillery. Okay that's understood. However they went further to add that under 25's were not allowed. That meant that...
