We went on the Fast Ferry at 7.15 am to Troon from Larne. It cost £23 for the day trip including transfers from Troon to Ayr town centre. The racecourse was a 10 min walk or £3.50 taxi ride.

My Partner & I went on P&O s offer, of Larne to Ayr Day trip for only £23 each, this includes your travel from troon to Ayr, We went for the Scottish Grand National.
After checking in at Larne we then boarded the Express ,Ferry, which was clean & fast, staff all very friendly & helpful. Cossing time is 2hrs....
