The staff are freindly enough on the recpetion, however this is where the good things end. The changing rooms are dirty, the doors dont lock on many of the cubicles. Once you have changed and head to the pool it isnt any better the floor is dirty, the poor doesnt look like it gets clean and is always cold. There... More

the citadel was a bit expensive and were only in the pool 30 min and were told they were closing also my son wanted a drink so we approched the drinks machine while he made his mind up we noticed all the bottles and cartons were a year and a half out of date so we never bought anything one... More

Ayr Citadel (used to be Ayr Baths), now updated with great sports hall with multiple uses, eg. basketball, badminton, football... a general sports hall. Also boasting a fantastic sized swimming pool, separate teaching pool as well as diving pool with three tier board tower.
