forget st.andrews and its ballots. book a round or two at PGC. one of the original links courses in scotland and without doubt one of the best. only about a mile to another links couse PRESTWICK ST NICs and the inland PRESTWICK ST CUTHBERT. both are good tests of golf and when incorporated with the pubs etc in the area...

Played on much better courses in Ayrshire but then again seaside courses would be a rarity in a list of my top ten Scottish Golf Courses.

The history of Prestwick makes it a "must play" for anyone traveling to Scotland for golf. The staff was very friendly and the course is fantastic.
