Having tried to view the beautifull terraced gardens at Dalzell house, but unfortunately, not being wealthy enough to own a flat there, I know from experience that visitors are no longer welcome, at or near Dalzell house, unless of course you are filming a "desireable homes" television programme, and not merely interested in Motherwell heritage. Dalzell House is actually privately owned apartments, converted around 15 years ago. The surrounding parkland is open to the public. I know because I own oneof the apartments, and we have great parties! As for the ghosts - I believe they do exist but haven't seen any yet. more
