This is merely a photo op. There is a car park that allows you to experience the geological formations of kilt rock and the waterfall in front. Well worth a stop when driving past, the impressive cliff structure with it's vertical 'pleated' formations going steeply down into the sea. good interpretation provided in the carpark so that you knew what you were looking at. The long waterfall was quite impressive too. More

adequate waterfall, nice to see, not worth making a special trip to it but worthy of a short pit stop if you're passing. it's hard to get a bad view in Skye but to single out Kilt Rock as worthy of special car parking and much signage is a bit over the top in my humble opinion. More

Brilliant when it's been raining...it's like a natural overflow pipe to the island.Maybe that description doesn't do it justice. the rock formations look like a kilt so I'll leave the imagery to yourselves.
