This can be a very short stop if you just wish to see it and snap a few pictures. It is very interesting to see and read about. The drive to the dolmen is one of the best parts!

I've been here at least 5 times and would never go to Co Clare without another visit. The new car park and path makes it very easily accessible and the information boards are worth a look as they have loads of information about the wider landscape as well as the monument. The drive through the Burrens is really neat, because it's such an unusual landscape. Then, you add this 5,000+ year old tomb and it just adds to the sense of mystery and beauty. It's a short stop, but we liked it a lot!

Love the new car park and easy access paths. There is no more dangerous parking on the side of the road to get a look at this beautiful tomb.

If you are driving the Burren, you need to stop and see it. I mean it is cool but I wouldn't make the trip just to see it.

When we went back in April 11 it was all barricaded off and the children were horrified to hear that their dad had...
