We missed so much of the grounds because we didn't budget enough time and had to get back to our hotel to check out. Stay for a least half the day, see Blarney house as well. I didn't get to see the Rock Garden at all. The castle is WAY bigger than you think it will be and you get...

I thought the castle was very neat to walk through, I was surprised at how much they let you see, every room in the castle is open to walk through. We went later in the afternoon so there were no crowds and no lines to kiss the Blarney Stone, which I thought was a fun thing. We walked the rest...

Beautiful grounds and a wonderful time. I had not trouble climbing the steps despite being very out of shape. You get an amazing idea of what it was like to live like a king.

The Castle was great, and of course you must make the climb up to the top to kiss the stone. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour of Blarney house - 30 minutes and very informative.

I lived in Cork for years and was home visiting in March and finally went to the Blarney Stone. The grounds of the castle are beautiful and there are numerous gardens that you can visit. The castle itself is a treat although climbing up the stairs to where the stone is had me starting to shake so that by the...
