The English Market is this huge indoor shopping center with fresh veggies, fruit, meat, seafood, pastry, breads, soap, flowers and more. We walked through amazed at all the interesting food. Kind of fun to walk through. You can see the quality of the food and the pride of the vendors. It's certainly a must-see in Cork. If you are staying in a hotel, as I was, there is little or nothing to buy. More

A great old fashioned market, selling local produce which was displayed beautifully. The market sold many different types of foods that were locally sourced. I particularly liked the Mediterranean Stall selling many different types of olives, homous, pesto etc. Evrything in the market looked fresh and tempting. The fish market was very interesting, the fish all looked very fresh. More
