These form a splendid setting for the Gothic revival-style Main Quadrangle buildings, modelled on a typical Oxford college by the renowned Cork architect of the mid 19th century - Sir Thomas Deane. The overall area of the main campus is forty-four acres, and is supplemented by further facilities nearby. « less

I would like if they stocked more foods suitable for people with special dietary requirements. Whilst the soup is gluten free, many of the main courses contain wheat and gluten. More

Lovely place, you can feel the history in the air! Good to hang out, get something to eat & drink even if you are not student. Impressive Aula Maxima where free lunch time concerts are organised every Friday during the academic year. Few shops around where you can get merchandise gifts, main is in Visitors Centre by the Main Quadrangle.... More

A fabulous amenitiy on the doorstep which is free to the public. Exhibits change frequently. I took my 5 yearold son to see the Book of Lismore recently and he loved it. Great open space and views form the atrium. Lovely restaurant downstairs and not too expensive. On Sundays between 3 and 4 pm children can do art free ofcharge... More

The mosaics in the Honan chapel are spectacular and are worth a look. The Glucksmann gallery building too is impressive even if the art collection isn't all that fantastic. the setting by the river is very nice. Not all of the architecture would be to my taste - its a college with some modern functional buidlings packed quite closely together.... More

As a former student, I was delighted to revisit and see that the campus is even prettier. By a mile, the most attractive university campus in Ireland. Well worth visiting if in Cork. More

I do not recommend visiting UCC. It is just another university where every inch of ground has been built upon. Nothing exceptional to see or visit. More
