Even in the cold and damp of winter, a stroll through Fitzgerlad Park is an encounter with the beauty of the River Lee to the north end and the dull grey’s and browns of the trees and ground speckled with occasional hardy winter blooms. Fitzgerarld Park is a great place, with a playground for the kids, loads of plants and flowers in the Summer and the river lee running along side. It is really a lovely place for a romantic stroll or run around for the little ones. There are many weekend events from the start of June as part of the Mid Summer... More
