Browse through the great selection of literature, music and movies while you're being offered great advice on the selection and a cup of tea. This store is one of these treasure chests where you want to keep coming back again and again for more great stuff. More

This is my favourite bookshop. The service is always friendly and as warm as the tea that is offered. This gem is hidden a little way up Church Lane from Main Street. This is the place you can find anything, from Dan Brown to manga to Nintendo DS to DVDs. Every customer, new or regular is treated like a long-lost... More

This shop is one of the warmest, friendliest estalishments you are likely to venture into. I have visited this shop on numerous occasions for a variety of different books. From art literature to modern day classics, 'The Artistic Works of Jasper Johns' to 'The Lonesome Traveller' by Jack Kerouac. Amongst such reknowned works over a wide range of subjects and... More

Firstly as i came in the door the owner offered me a coffee which i thought was a great touch. They let me browse and offered assistance when it was needed and we enjoyed the friendly banter between the assistant and us. The books he suggested were excellent, affordable and i will be making my book shopping there in future..... More

Universal Books is a unique shop which offers fabulous bargains and lots of rare little treats that would be difficult to find elsewhere. They offer wonderful deals and are very helpful...if they don't have what you're looking for, David is more than helpful at trying to locate the item for you. I would highly recommend this wonderful shop :) More

I wandered into this bookstore one rainy day while traveling around the world with my 12 year old daughter. We were greeted with a free cup of tea, and were so impressed with the interesting people that worked there or wandered in while we were looking through the piles of books that we made sure we returned every day for... Situated on the Church Lane in Letterkenny, it's in the heart of the town and seems to be a hang out of many locals. The staff are nice and helpful. They have a great selection of old, new, weird and rare. Definitely worth a visit. More

Cool wee bookshop with loads of books from latest releases to old obscure titles, I got a heap of books for my kids and most were only a Euro each. If you're not offered a cup pf tea then ask for one - it's free! The owner David knows lots of secret spots in Donegal and is happy to share... More
