Unfortunately we had exactly the same experience as the previous reviewer - we were told there was a sailing at 2 pm on Sunday 27th September. This was confirmed by our landlady at our B&B who had been emailed the details. In the event a handwritten sign was tacked to the ticket door saying "sailing cancelled". In Donegal for the weekend with my mum and sister, we decided that we would take the Waterbus trip on the Sunday afternoon. We checked with the Tourist Information Office, who phoned the tour operater, and he confirmed that it would taking place on Sunday at 4pm. We arranged our Sunday around this, returning from a drive along the coast... more

all we need to say is.....Billy your the best...!(thats the captain) love the boat - really worth your while going on it if you are staying in donegal.. billy, the captain...makes the trip by making everyone feel soooo welcome! more
