The Brazen Head, reportedly the oldest pub in Dublin, is surely a tourist venue. Dinner was tasty and the service was good. however, the evening clearly belonged to PHILIP BYRNE, master story teller. The man held me in the palm of his hand ;so spellbinding was his presentation of Irish folklore .On your visit to Dublin feel free to skip... More

We did not know what to expect from this night out , but thoroughly enjoyed the story telling which was very humorous - Johnny brought tales to life. Irish food was very nice - would recommend the whole evening More

Disappointed, expensive night out and really couldn't hear half of what was said. We arrived early so that I ask to be seated closer, however the host on arrival made it sound like it was impossible. They have a number of rooms going at the same time and it's really busy. More

Food and entertainment were really great! Music and stories were beautifully performed with an Irish flair. The atmosphere was friendly and all the seats had a good view. The Brazen Head is lovely. More

Overall we had a wonderful time at An Evening of Food, Folklore and Fairies!! Johnny, our storyteller, was nothing but first-class and his voice had me feeling so soothed and relaxed. The stories of Irish history and folk tales were enchanting. Literally. I could listen to him over and over again. The music was also great in the middle of... More

This was as good as the reviews said it was! I thoroughly enjoyed it, however my friend was not as keen on it as I was hoping by the end of it. Either way, different preferences! The storyteller (for the life of my I can't remember his name) was amazing and very entertaining! I really enjoyed all the history and... More

After reading the reviews I expected a great evening. We went the first night we were in Dublin - a bit jet lagged - but a great way to keep awake. I loved the fact it is upstairs from the oldest pub in Ireland. I expect for some, a pub with live music in Temple Bar would be more entertaining... More
